About The Position

Perform a variety of functions that include receiving and processing incoming material, preparing material to be shipped, and managing/organizing material within the warehouse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) preferred but not required
• Must be able to operate forklifts and cranes
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime as needed
• Must be able to work multiple shifts as needed
• Read micrometers, calipers and other measurement devices
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for shipping according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Identify all material to be loaded with BOL
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming material. Report any damaged material to manager before accepting.
• Identify all received material with packing slip, tag material, store in designated location
• Cut material with metal saw per customer requirements
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment including but not limited to forklifts
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment
• Special assignments as assigned by supervisor
