About The Position

The Warehouseman role is crucial to our logistics and distribution team. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of orders, managing inventory, and maintaining the quality and accuracy of shipments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1 – 2 years previous experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving roles preferred.
Strong ability to accurately process orders, manage inventory, and ensure quality control.
Effective at maintaining accurate records, tracking shipments, and coordinating shipping activities.
Excellent time management and communication abilities for effective interaction with team members and supervisors.
Background check, Drug & Physical Screening required.
Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Environment: Work in a facility with loud noise, extreme temperatures, and environmental stressors.
Physical Activities: Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, reach, and grasp as needed.
PPE: Wear the required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety toe footwear.
Dexterity and Vision: Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment).
Stamina: Stand for long shifts.
Skills: Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork.
Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Order Processing & Shipping: Accurately process orders and coordinate shipping activities to ensure timely delivery.
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain warehouse inventory levels, conducting regular audits and restocking as necessary.
Packing & Labeling: Skillfully pack products for shipment, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and proper labeling.
Documentation: Maintain accurate shipped and received items records, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
Quality Control: Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure adherence to high standards.
Operational Support: Assist in various warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading shipments as needed.
