About The Position

The Warehouseman II is responsible for top tier, shipping and receiving products, while ensuring product integrity, traceability, rotation and warehouse cleanliness. 2nd Shift: 6PM - 6:30AM

Requirements

  • Lift and push up to 60 pounds
  • Work in a hot/humid environment for 10 + hours
  • Operate stand up and sit down style forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
  • Read, write, and understand simple English
  • Work quickly and repetitively
  • Forklift and pallet jack certification is required
  • Fall safety
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop for 10+ hours.
  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 60lbs.
  • Working conditions may require you to work in tall, high and tight spaces.
  • Climb 8-10 ft staircase to reach top tier for maintenance, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Ability to wear PPE equipment for 8-10 hours (i.e., Steel toes, Hard hat, hair/beard net & hearing protection)
  • Ability to adhere to GMP policies when entering the production areas.
  • Ability to load and unload trucks.
  • Work in hot humid enviornment for 10+ hours (80-110°F)

Responsibilities

  • Unload facility supplies including packaging, parts, and raw materials (i.e., oil and bean carts).
  • Monitor, manage and maintain the top tier and palletizer.
  • Accurately rotate stock and position for production.
  • Complete cycle counts of raw materials.
  • Scheduling and receiving trucks.
  • Have at a minimum a working knowledge of handheld scanners to track material movement.
  • Assure all proper releases have been obtained from the QA prior to loading or unloading product.
  • Maintain all associated Shipping & Receiving records.
  • Keep work area clean and free of clutter and debris.
  • Accurately document where raw materials and supplies are being stored.
  • Issue of raw materials and returns.
  • Monitor and maintain reconciliation PID tags to insure traceability.
  • Maintain cleanliness of silo pads, waste and hoppers.
  • Move finished goods from production to shipping area for loading.
  • Ensure pallets are staged and dispensers are filled with pallets.
  • Ensure spice, salt and film are staged and ready for packaging.
  • Follow specific rotation guidelines for each storage area and make necessary adjustments to area.
  • Load trucks following all proper truck loading procedures.
  • Follow all food safety (GMP) and general safety guidelines.
  • Operate stand up and sit-down style forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
  • Ensure Forklifts and pallet runners are charged and ready for use.
  • Manage, prep and load cattle feed to ensure no plastic pallets are shipped.
  • Maintain all required records and documents, such as the Daily GMP, Trailer Load Diagrams, and Operational Reports, Redzone.
  • Any other duties as asigned.
