About The Position

This
position receives ships, stores, distributes, inventories, and monitors the flow of material within the warehouse.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Two years prior experience in warehouse role
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively with NCS employees and management
• Ability to recognize problems, identify root cause and create sustainable solutions
• Ability to think critically and great attention to detail
• Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work related stress Technical working knowledge of NCS HSE program, products and procedures
• Handle stressful situations

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving, loading/unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
• Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
• Retrieve customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping area
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method
• Work with Manufacturing and Operations on scheduling, coordinating and transactions of inventory movements domestically and internationally
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed in ERP system
• Inventory control tasks such as cycle counts, full physical inventories, bin audits, and organization of all items, including MRO items.
• Perform final quality review on all assembled products to ensure they meet established standards
• Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed
• Support and uphold HS&E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer
• Align individual goals with NCS corporate goals, while adhering to the NCS Promise
• Participate in your Personal Development for Success (PDS) Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required
