About The Position
Coordinate shipments Input complete inventory into system daily Ensure that all documentation for shipping/receiving is complete and correct Inspect trailers used to deliver raw materials Load trucks for shipment when necessary Unload trucks for delivery when necessary Stage raw materials and finished goods in designated areas Pack, palletize and wrap finished goods according to customer specification Maintain accurate inventory daily, weekly, and monthly and enter into shipping database Maintain clean, safe working environment at all times Coordinate with all personnel and management as necessary in a professional manner Adhere to all plant and departmental rules, policies and procedures Take any necessary steps to reduce or eliminate potential quality or safety issues Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1-2 years’ warehouse experience
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multiple programs such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
