About The Position

Schnucks is currently hiring for Grocery Warehouse teammates at our Bridgeton facility. The Bridgeton Warehouse located at 12921 Enterprise Way, Bridgeton, MO 63044. We are looking for candidates that are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5am-330pm. You must also be available to work up to 3 hours of overtime per shift and additional days of the week as needed. Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job You could expect the position of warehouse casual to include the following duties: Select, stack, and wrap pallets of product. Operate a motorized double pallet jack. Operate a shrink wrapping machine. Operate electronic headset selection equipment. Follow the instructions provided by the electronic selection system. Read and understand product location signs. Follow company safety guidelines when lifting product and operating power equipment. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of warehouse management You must also maintain company productivity standards. If you are not maintaining the standards listed below your position may be terminated: 80% after 30 days of employment 90% after 60 days of employment 100% by competition of 90 day Probationary Period Training Training is provided at the warehouse facility. You will train for two consecutive weeks. Each week you will train for four days working 10 hour shifts. Physical Demands You must be able to: Lift an average of 50 pounds consistently Stack cases of product at shoulder height or higher Work on your feet for the entire shift (10-13 hours) Bend, stoop, and twist for the entire shift Work in hot temperatures during the summer, no air conditioning Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates: Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred. Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred. Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
