The Warehouse Worker is responsible for department support and knowledge in all aspects of the responsibilities of a assigned department

Requirements

• High School Diploma, equivalency certificate or significant relevant or appropriate working experience.
• Approximately 5 years of service as a Warehouse Worker or Warehouse Checker.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge in all aspects of the warehouse.
• To be promoted into this position, an employee must score a 3 or higher on their Performance Evaluation during the last two years of service

Responsibilities

• Use radio frequency or picking, receiving, and storing function, as required.
• Check contents of orders picked and assembled by the order pickers.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling and address with the customer’s order to ensure that outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
• General Business support function as assigned.
• Assures correct piece count, quality of product and correct shipping information.
• Able to operate all warehouse equipment.
• Cross trained and can work in multiple warehousing functions or shifts.
