About The Position

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Technician is responsible for moving and maintaining warehouse products and supplies as well as other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and other InterState Oil employees.
• Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Forklift experience required; forklift certified preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prolonged periods of physical activity including standing, walking, reaching, carrying and bending.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Moves, sorts and secures warehouse inventory on racks/shelves.
• Collects items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing orders for delivery.
• Loads and unloads transfer vehicles and trailers.
• Loads and unloads delivery vehicles.
• Sweeps and maintains cleanliness of warehouse and yard.
• May perform basic maintenance tasks/repairs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
