About The Position

MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Warehouse Worker located in Hawthorne CA. Our client is a Foods industry leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability Role Summary / Overview Pick and pack orders per customer specification. Scan product as directed to capture required data. Sort, organize, repack, palletize, track, weight and break down various products to assist production as needed. Ship and receive product utilizing assigned material handling equipment. Perform various facility sanitation duties as required. Complete miscellaneous other duties as assigned by mgmt. We provide cooler gear and PPE. We encourage them to dress warmly. Must wear closed toe composite toe slip resistant shoe (boots preferred) No jogger or sweat pants Assists the Warehouse team in the Warehouse operation, including but not limited to: receiving, shipping, GMP requirements, and filling in at other positions where needed. Assists in assuring the efficient and correct order fulfillment and loading of route trucks, boxed beef orders, and will-call orders; fills in, as required, in any of the following job functions: receiving, loading , unloading, stretch wrapping, product put away, order selecting , scanning, palletizing, invoicing, labeling, warehouse clean up, freezer work; works with QA and accounting to assure all returns are processed properly and proper credits have been issued; assists in assuring any and all special product requirements have been met; assures all powered equipment inspection forms are completed daily and notifies management of potential safety issues; assists in investigating inventory discrepancies; assures that all safety and GMP rules are adhered to; conducts item to item transfers as required; performs other duties as assigned.

High School graduate or GED preferred.
Basic Reading, Writing and Math skills.
Minimum 6 months warehouse experience preferred, preferably in a food environment.
Able to work overtime as needed.
Ability to lift 10-100 lbs. frequently.
Warehousing, 3PL or Food processing

Nice To Haves

Experience on walk behind electric pallet jack and sit down or stand- up forklifts a plus.
