Turner Industries Group, LLC has an opening for a Warehouse Worker to join our Team in the Cantonment, FL area. The warehouse worker will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products.

Requirements

  • Must pass excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Post offer drug screen and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries, Ltd. Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
  • Hazard Communication orientation/test
  • Turner Industries Group LLC. indoctrination
  • OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87)
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others at the workplace

Responsibilities

  • Stores, removes, loads and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that cannot be handles by material handling devices
  • operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves
  • reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved , gathered or distributed
  • assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, or color
  • moves materials and supplies from the warehouse and prepares for delivery
  • fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or stock items
  • records material items received or distributed
  • may maintain inventory records
  • performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain work area
  • performs additional assignments as required.
