About The Position

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Purchasing, the Warehouse Worker receives, ships and delivers all stock and non-stock supplies. Fills and delivers all department stock orders. Assists in inventory control and inventory counts, maintains cleanliness of distribution and loading dock areas. Receives and tags all capital equipment. Completes all warehouse duties.

Requirements

• High School graduate preferred.
• 1 to 3 years experience in materials/distribution
• Valid CA Drivers License
• Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking
• Lift/position up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force.eaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
• Manual dexterity and mobilityTouch, auditory and visual perception and acuityAdequate vocal pitch and volumeAbility to move quickly.
• Sufficient perceptive acuity (vision and hearing) to perform all the related duties of the position
• Regularly exposed to the risk of contagious and blood borne diseases

Responsibilities

• Receives and Sorts Supplies Delivered by Common Carrier. completes all ship out of product and equipment using the best possible method.
• Filling stock Requisitions/Backorders
• Receiving Stock/Non-Stock Supplies
• Inventory Control/Organization and Cleanliness of the Distribution and Loading Dock Areas
• Maintaining Equipment
• Maintaining Capital Equipment Log and Tagging capital Equipment
• Access to Pharmaceutical Supplies and Secure Storage areas- Medication access will be restricted to those medications and supplies that a Central Distribution technician must access in order to perform their assigned duties.
• Functions as relief Delivery Driver as needed. Pick-up and Delivery Services
• All other duties as assigned
