About The Position

The Wwarehouse Training Coordinator is responsible for assisting in delivering training programs to warehouse personnel. They oversee and support the training processes, help develop training materials, and ensure that employees receive adequate training in various aspects of warehouse operations, including safety procedures, onboarding programs, equipment usage, and LMS management.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree may be preferred.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a training or supervisor role.
Basic knowledge of warehouse processes, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to assist in organizing training materials and records.
Willingness to learn and adapt to different training methods and tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting training sessions for new hires, cross-training employees, and ongoing skill development.
Work closely with the Training Director and Safety Team to deliver training content effectively.
Support safety training efforts by helping to instruct employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Review SOPs with trainees to ensure they understand and perform their job functions as directed in the standard operating procedures.
Assist in training warehouse staff on the safe and efficient operation of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
Help in providing training on proper inventory control procedures, including receiving, storage, and order picking processes.
Monitor and ensure compliance with inventory management standards.
Assist in the development and preparation of training materials, manuals, and resources.
Organize and maintain training materials for ease of use during training sessions.
Assist in maintaining accurate training records (LMS) for all warehouse employees.
Support tracking of certifications, training completion, and compliance records.
Encourage and ensure adherence to safety guidelines, company policies, and industry regulations during training sessions.
Stay updated on industry best practices, safety regulations, and new technologies.
Seek opportunities for personal and professional development related to warehouse training.
