About The Position
This position is responsible for performing assigned toolroom duties in a safe, reliable manner in compliance with site Procedures, Standards and Expectations. Interfaces with other station departments to ensure efficient coordination with the station’s Warehouse strategies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Scissor Lift certification
- Radiation Worker qualification
Responsibilities
- Issue tools from all designated toolrooms.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure all tools are properly accounted for in each toolroom.
- Follow direction from the Warehouse Manager and/or Working Foreman.
- Report to work as scheduled, fully qualified, and Fit for Duty.
- Lead supplemental workers during refueling outages.
- Communicate questions, concerns, or operational issues to Warehouse Management promptly.
- Assist co-workers when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and identify and address tools or equipment that need repair or replaced.
- Conduct annual inspections of safety harnesses.
- Update inspection spreadsheets, complete associated work orders, and enter all required data into VIPER.
- Create reservations and pick tickets in Maximo for free issue items.
