This specific role is for a Trane Warehouse Associate in Madison, WI, working on-site (5 days) during the day (1st shift, Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays). Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous Warehouse and power industrial vehicle experience such as a forklift
  • of safety by utilizing all appropriate resources to safely perform all function of the job
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to follow through on commitments and details
  • Strong computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proven team player

Responsibilities

  • Be the reliable primary contact for warehouse movement and for customer and local transportation provider interactions
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and freight accurately
  • Stock and organize product inventory for smooth warehouse operations
  • Load and unload freight using power industrial vehicles such as a forklift; maintain work equipment
  • Maintain office and warehouse supplies required for effective operation
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends and on-call shifts, as required
