About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to support the planning, coordination, and execution of material movement from receipt to production. This position is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, material handling, shipping and receiving, and coordination with other departments to meet production and scheduling requirements.

Requirements

TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant experience in materials management, warehouse operations, or production planning.
Working knowledge of material movement, inventory control, and production scheduling processes.
Familiarity with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and materials management systems.
Experience with warehousing operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
Ability to interpret engineering specifications and production schedules to determine material needs.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in tracking material flow and maintaining records.
Ability to work independently under limited supervision and solve moderately complex material planning challenges.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or vocational training in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
Proficiency with ERP or MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Knowledge of material selection for production based on performance, cost, and application.
Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment with high material throughput.
Exposure to lean inventory or just-in-time (JIT) methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements in material planning or warehousing.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and manage the flow of materials from warehouse receipt to production.
Develop raw material and scheduling requirements based on engineering specifications and production schedules.
Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to coordinate timely material movement.
Perform daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and staging of materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and apply appropriate min/max inventory levels.
Update and manage inventory data in the warehouse management system or relevant database.
Conduct and support annual physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks and other vehicles during shipping and receiving operations.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
