Warehouse Technician Weir Esco Portland, OR - Plant 3 Onsite Day Shift 6:00am-2:30 pm Business Need/Purpose of Role: A Material handler supports the day-to-day operations of the plant and has a direct impact on the success of the facility. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift experience required, must be able to retain a fork lift license.
  • Must have strong reading, writing, and math skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills with the ability to execute special projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present a professional image in interactions with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Support of departments with raw materials that are palletized using heavy equipment, responding to each request within a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service while serving employees, suppliers and customers to ensure materials are handled appropriately and quality issues are escalated.
  • Familiar with safe operating procedures in regard to the use of heavy equipment in loading and unloading materials and stop work procedures.
  • Back up for the maintenance of inventory organization and accuracy for all store items, Perform audits and cycle counts.
