About The Position

As a Warehouse Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our fire protection operations behind the scenes. Your work will help keep equipment in good working order, inventory organized, and field teams supplied with what they need to do their jobs safely and efficiently. This is a great role for someone who likes hands-on work, staying active during the day, and keeping things organized. You will learn how our equipment works, how material flows from the warehouse to the field, and how your efforts directly support the safety of our customers. For the right person, this position can be a launching point into field technician, inspection, or operations roles over time.

Requirements

  • Self-motivation with a strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Basic working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, or a willingness to learn and follow them closely
  • Ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to change
  • A positive, “can do” attitude and commitment to teamwork
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to lift and move materials safely, typically up to 50 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

  • You have a valid driver’s license, which is preferred but not required.
  • You have prior experience in a warehouse, trades, logistics, or service environment.
  • You have basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience with tools and small equipment.
  • You are familiar with spreadsheets, inventory tools, or simple tracking systems.

Responsibilities

  • Help with simple tests and checks on fire protection equipment.
  • Keep an eye out for anything that looks damaged, worn out, or not working right and let your lead or supervisor know.
  • Use basic computer tools, like Excel or Google Sheets, to update inventory counts and simple logs.
  • Pull, pack, and label material for jobs, so crews have what they need before they leave the shop.
  • Unload trucks, check deliveries against the paperwork, and put material away in the right place.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized, including sweeping, throwing out trash, and straightening shelves and racks.
  • Help drivers load and unload vehicles and assist with deliveries when needed.
  • Jump in on other warehouse tasks as needed to support the team and keep work moving.
