About The Position

Weekend Shift - 5:30 am - 6:00 pm every Friday thru Sunday (12 hour days). SUMMARY: Receives, stores, and distributes material, products within establishments by performing the following duties.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be able to operate forklift, tugger, cherry picker, and/or pallet jack.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months warehouse related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Must be able to read and understand English.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Responsibilities

  • Pulling parts orders, receive return to stock from production, put (away) operating the supermarket function. Fill bin locations for the supermarket.
  • Perform cycle counts, maintaining inventory accuracy upon pulling parts orders and supermarket parts.
  • Pulling parts orders and Supermarket parts.
  • Ability to operate electric devices, or a computer.
  • Must be forklift certified.
  • Ability to maintain 5s and lean practices.
  • Ability to multi-task and be a Team player.
  • Understand and perform according to operating instructions.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
