The Warehouse Associate is responsible for proper storage, retrieval and distribution of materials stored within Hose Master’s Warehouse space. This includes performing required system transactions to maintain inventory accuracy. He/She projects a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Good basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read a tape measure, dial calipers and micrometer.
• Tow motor experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, squat, twist and kneel.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Distribute materials such as fittings, steel, wire, bulk hose and braid to departments for use (Daily)
• Escalate and Material Shortages/Discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor (Daily)
• Pull Materials for Remote Facility Trucks as required
• Reels stage ahead of truck load date
• Package orders for customer shipments as required
• Prepare any necessary shipment paperwork as required
• Ensure proper material transactions are entered promptly (Daily)
• Assist in counting Inventory (Daily)
• Use Forklift/Tow Motor to move shipments and raw material as needed
• Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
