About The Position
Position Responsibilities: Operation of a variety of machines ranging from a six-ton or ten-ton overhead crane to a finning machine. Responsibilities range from loading/unloading materials onto/off of machines and semi-trailers; bending or finning tubing; and ensuring quality of tubes being shipped out. Ensure that the equipment is in a safe operating condition. Reviews the computerized work list for the equipment, locate the available material and prioritizes the orders to be processed. Communicates with the other operators to formulate the run order of material. Loads/unloads various machines to include conveyors Completed daily Operational and Safety Checklists Performs any necessary set-up during shift. May be required to “fill-in” for other positions when there is a need. Performs other duties as assigned .
