About The Position

Warehouse / Logistics Technician
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for ensuring the goods reach the customer on time and in full (OTIF) by handling warehousing facilities and being able to effectively manage time to pack and prepare goods corresponding to open orders. This position requires frequent and thorough communication with all parties to ensure expectations are managed and satisfied.
It is critical that BBC Orders are managed professionally, politely, and promptly to maintain favorable relationships with all Distributors and Customers.
The Logistics Technician’s main responsibilities include packing and wrapping orders, loading and unloading trucks and helping maintain clean and organized storage facilities. This position requires excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively communicate production needs and logistics. Maintaining and following processes and paperwork is critical to ensuring the efficient operation aspect of this position.

This is a split position between our two facilities in Armada and Capac. Time will be spent at each location as needed, and regular travel between the two facilities is required.

Requirements

• Hi-Lo Experience.
• Reliable Transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must have proficient math skills.
• Ability to deal effectively with vendors in person.
• Excellent understanding of the principles of Logistics
• Able to use Microsoft Office Applications if necessary.
• Able to work with others and/or independently.
• The ability to frequently and repeatedly lift 20lbs and maneuver 165lbs.
• Must be able to remain standing for an entire shift.
• Energetic team players must be a self-starter with minimal supervision and good follow-through.
• Demonstrated ability to follow and improve processes
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and integrity is a must.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Ability to be patient and overcome stressful situations.
• Ability to work on the fly and shift to different responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pack, wrap, and prepare customer orders in accordance with open sales orders
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Manage BHC and AEC orders professionally, promptly, and courteously
• Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and internal teams to meet shipping deadlines
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and storage areas
• Accurately complete and maintain all required paperwork and shipping documentation
• Follow established warehouse processes, safety standards, and procedures
• Communicate proactively to ensure expectations are understood and met
