About The Position

Leon @ Home is a premier healthcare provider serving the Miami-Dade community with a commitment to excellence in patient care. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Warehouse Technician to support the logistics and inventory operations our (DME) warehouse.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience; healthcare or DME experience preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Basic understanding of inventory systems and product codes.
Fluent in English; Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule the movement, storage, and shipment of medical equipment and supplies.
Manage warehouse inventory, conduct regular counts, and verify availability of items for distribution.
Implement daily production and shipping plans, ensuring efficient use of warehouse space.
Repack, restack, and manually handle pallets of finished products as needed.
Identify slow-moving inventory and arrange for removal with appropriate approvals.
Maintain accurate documentation of warehouse activities, including forms and reports.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, Infection Control, and Safe-Lifting procedures through ongoing training.
Adhere to company policies on safety, patient confidentiality, and infection control.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demonstrate courtesy to patients, visitors, and staff.
Communicate effectively with center administration and other departments to resolve inquiries.
Participate in departmental meetings, in-service education, and special projects as assigned.
