Overview As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply Charlotte Distribution Center in Kannapolis, NC . Schedule : Split Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. from 7 AM to 5:30PM until the work is done: 4 Day Workweek (4 10-hour days) The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. Requirements

  • Extreme Temperature : Working in rotation through extreme temperatures (–10F to 100F) is required to keep our food safe!
  • Heavy Weights : Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds .
  • Education : High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiency and Organization : You’ll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products
  • Safety First : Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe
