About The Position

Studio M is seeking a Warehouse Team Member to join our team in Fenton, MO. Who we are: Studio M is a family-owned-and-operated company of about 100 people based in St. Louis, Missouri (Fenton area). We design, manufacture, and distribute art-based gift and décor products for the home and garden. https://www.studio-m.com/ What Warehouse Team Members do: As a Fulfillment Team Member at Studio M, your primary goal will be to help us improve the flow of orders leaving our building accurately, completely, on time, and without damages. You will assist with any and all work required to meet the fulfillment team’s goals. Since we’re a small business, you’ll get to learn and gain valuable experience through a wide array of projects and processes that make a warehouse run smoothly. Pick, pack, and/or ship orders Operate a handheld scanner or desktop computer to process orders Load and unload containers and trucks Assist with counting and restocking inventory Help keep the warehouse clean and organized Work collaboratively with the team to accomplish each day’s fulfillment goals Continuously look for ways to improve processes Our ideal Warehouse Team Member: If you’re the right person for this job, you’ll be comfortable working on your feet all day and are seeking a fast-paced work environment that will be challenging and dynamic. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working together with a team, and have excellent attention to detail. You can quickly learn how to use mobile devices and web applications. You probably have a high school diploma and have pursued additional education since graduating.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in warehouse operations preferred – picking, packing, shipping, restocking, warehouse organization, etc.
  • Professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Basic math skills (arithmetic, algebra)
  • Strong ability to prioritize and focus
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift operating experience is a plus
