About The Position

S&S Activewear is seeking an Inventory Control (IC) Team Lead to provide support to the Receiving & IC manager/supervisor and directly interact with the IC team. The IC Team Lead will ensure compliance of the procedures, communicate goals, safety practices, and provide ongoing guidance and support to the employee as they complete their action plans. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere and enforce the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years old or older
Ability to read and speak English
Good interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills
Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
Ability to communicate and explain processes effectively
Ability to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals
People oriented
Positive “can-do” attitude
Ability to work overtime without notice
Detail oriented
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Prepare daily recounts and other user created counts.
Assign Cycle count batches to the appropriate team members.
Process Cycle count review screen daily.
Help to reconcile Count Discrepancies daily.
Monitor Restock progress and process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Process product Transfers from picking to shipping including any adjustments needed.
Process improvement participation.
Provide assistance and guidance in the shortage process / function.
Provide leadership to all department employees.
Conduct employee kick off meetings.
Verify and enforce compliance of the SOP’s
Manage cutoff times of outbound orders.
Monitoring time per task reports
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the IC process
Provide involvement in the planning and execution of special projects related to the IC process
Prepare and host kick off meetings as assigned
Monitor work flow and adjust practices as required to ensure quality and timely shipment of orders.
Act professionally and remain focused while working
Safely operate all warehouse equipment
