MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The primary job duties this position is responsible for achieving are listed in order of importance Position requires that incumbent is skilled and/or trained in all the tasks. Not all tasks listed below will be assigned to an individual. Tasks will as assigned by management. Rotation of assignment will be scheduled by management as needed. Enhancing growth and development through participation in educational programs, staff meetings, and in-services, including but not limited to reviewing information and/or enter information to the Communication Book on a daily basis. Restock supplies from vendor deliveries into designated main inventory bin locations. Put charge stickers to chargeable items. Complete par level counts to assigned departments for stock replenishment. Enter par counts to system. Pick supplies on stock pick list from main inventory. Prepare and stage all stock and nonstock deliveries to departments. Deliver and restock department inventories into designated department bin locations; nonstock orders to requestors. Maintain complete and accurate accounting of issues and returns in ERP system. Deliver medical devices and/or other supplies to departments as requested by phone to Materials Management. Pick up used and dirty medical devices from nursing units and bring down to Materials Management for disinfection. Disinfect medical devices for deployment to nursing units. Replenish crash carts and kits. Pick up and sort incoming mail and outgoing mail. Process outgoing mail and drop off to outgoing mailbox. Complete physical annual and/or cycle counts as scheduled. Maintain clean warehouse including returning supplies to bins as appropriate. Complete all required record, audit, and monitoring logs such as Call Log, Rental Equipment Logbook, etc. Complete all required trainings timely as scheduled. Assists in special projects as may be required by Supervisor or Director. Follow and comply with the Rental Equipment Management procedure.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Department and Medical Center policy and procedures.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must have knowledge of or be computer literate (10-key by touch preferred).
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire)
  • Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer one (1) year experience in a healthcare warehouse setting.
