Purpose of Your Work: We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations across inbound receiving, put-away, inventory control, and intralogistics supporting a customers on-site production line. This role is critical to ensuring material flows efficiently from the dock to inventory and ultimately to production without disruption. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment and has experience managing both warehouse operations and production support workflows

Requirements

  • 35+ years of warehouse leadership experience in a high-volume distribution or production support environment.
  • 1-3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience managing inbound receiving, put away, and inventory control.
  • Experience supporting intralogistics or production-based picking operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE) or comparable ERP system.
  • RF scanner and WMS proficiency.
  • Experience supervising employees and temporary labor in a multi-shift environment.
  • Ability to work frequent Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Inbound & Receiving Operations
  • Oversee all inbound freight including FTL, LTL, and parcel shipments
  • Manage dock scheduling, door assignments, and unloading efficiency
  • Ensure accurate receiving, inspection, and system transactions
  • Drive improvements in dock-to-stock (receiving cycle time) performance
  • Put-Away & Inventory Control
  • Supervise put-away processes to ensure accuracy and space optimization
  • Maintain inventory integrity across a high-SKU environment
  • Oversee cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution
  • Ensure all transactions are completed accurately in ERP/WMS systems
  • Intralogistics / Production Support
  • Coordinate material movement from warehouse to production lines
  • Ensure production teams are consistently supplied with required materials
  • Manage line feeding, replenishment, and staging processes
  • Quickly resolve material shortages or flow disruptions
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates and team leads
  • Manage staffing levels, including temporary labor, to meet daily volume
  • Conduct shift start-up meetings to communicate priorities and safety expectations
  • Hold team accountable to productivity, accuracy, and safety standards
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all operations
  • Ensure proper use of equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.)
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, company policies, and customer requirements
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Track KPIs such as receiving cycle time, inventory accuracy, production support, and productivity
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
  • Partner with leadership and customer teams to drive performance
