About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor Position is responsible for the activities and safe movement in receiving, storing, shipping of Finish Goods & Raw Materials. They will plan, develop & implement safety, site security programs and activities. Nurture Genpak’s Safety Culture with team members. Inspect the physical conditions of warehouse, PIV & WHS equipment. Communicate Production & inventory discrepancies properly through internal channels. Make sure all WHS operations; shipping, receiving rework processes operate in accordance with Genpak’s standard operating procedures & Safe Quality Food program.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize & execute daily inbound & outbound activities.
Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedule and organize team to ensure proper coverage of warehouse shifts & Production Departments.
Reconcile production daily.
Communicate to team product demands for outbound loads.
Manage product layout in warehouse to ensure efficient product flow.
Assign workload tasks appropriately and measure results
Ensure that daily reports are accurate, detailed and submitted within expected time of delivery
Manage trailers on site. Communicate with carriers’ equipment demands.
Maintain weekly Labor Report. Document exceptions.
Execute maintenance activities when needed. Submit in FIIX warehouse needed repairs. Follow up with Maintenance.
Attend and participate in regularly scheduled production meetings.
Take initiative to accomplish open tasks; be proactive and seek additional work when available.
Demonstrate ability to initiate and perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action to driver improvement.
Ability to meet or exceed performance standards and continuously improve upon them.
Leadership skills and ability to manage team Coach/mentor employees to develop skillset and achieve performance requirements.

Knowledge of Microsoft office, Oracle and familiar with database applications.
Participate in annual physical inventory.
Participate in Yearly SQF Audits
Safety: Act in compliance with safety practices and procedures throughout the warehouse. Take action to address safety concerns. Report any safety concerns to leadership team. Ensure team maintains safe and clean work environment.
Complete safety training & perform PIV certifications.
Attend and participate in regularly scheduled safety meetings
Work an 8-hour shift with overtime as required.
