About The Position

The Fremont Company, a family-owned food manufacturer since 1905, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for their Fremont, Ohio location. This full-time, on-site role involves leading the complete warehouse operation, including receiving, storage, and shipping. The supervisor will manage a high-performing team, partner with transportation providers, and extensively use an ERP system for inventory management, shipment creation, and order tracking. It's a hands-on leadership position requiring attention to both system operations and floor activities.

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Demonstrated daily ERP proficiency — inventory management, BOL creation, transfer scheduling, and order tracking should be second nature
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Experience managing onsite and offsite warehouse operations
• Forklift certification, including the ability to train others

Responsibilities

• Lead high-volume warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
• Work extensively in our ERP system on a daily basis, including: Managing inventory across our main facility and outside warehouse locations
• Creating Bills of Lading (BOLs) for outbound shipments
• Tracking inbound and outbound orders from receipt through delivery
• Partner with transportation providers to meet plant needs and customer deadlines
• Supervise a small high-performing warehouse team
• Maintain safety compliance and quality standards
