Turner Industries is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a facility in the Pasadena, TX area. A primary function of this warehouse is to operate packing equipment, move pallets into storage, or move pallets onto trucks per shipping orders. This is a long-term, nested maintenance position.
NO PER DIEM OR RELOCATION available. This is ideal for local candidates.
2-5 years experience in an industrial warehouse
2-5 years supervisory experience
Forklift Experience - Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
Direct employees to insure stock is organized and stock levels are maintained
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably one (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill
• Basic computer skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in lifting, transporting, storing, and loading materials and products by use of conveyors, cranes, hoists, or industrial trucks, applying knowledge of plant layout and material-handling equipment and procedures
• Studies receiving or shipping notices, requests for movement of raw materials and finished products, and reports of warehousing space available to develop schedule for material handling activities
• May confer with supervisors of other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products
• May verify or prepare records, such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times
