SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is a key link between the company and its customer base of collision repair shops in the region. The goal for each Warehouse Supervisor is to provide support to a fast-paced Warehouse Team. A successful Warehouse Supervisor will be able to be a contributor to the workflow of the department that oversees the warehouse operations and staff. Night Shift: M-F/ 5:00 pm - 2:00 am Specific Responsibilities: Assist in Safety and Warehouse Processes training Maintain a safe and clean warehouse (Building and Equipment maintenance following safety regulations; trash clean up, facility repairs or equipment repair) Manage the workflow for the major Warehouse tasks (Receiving, Shipping, Maintenance and QC) Must be able to manage team members and create schedules Troubleshoot problems associated with the daily operation in the major warehouse tasks (Receiving, Shipping, Maintenance and QC) Assist the Warehouse manager in developing and updating SOPs Identify productivity areas to measure to help the Director of Warehouse Operations and Warehouse Manager generate KPIs An ability to interpret KPIs and guide the team to achieve the goals set forth Schedule all incoming shipments- Overseas/domestic and update all relevant programs Manage the order picking process Create and schedule shipments of defective or damaged items back to vendors Conduct equipment operator training Order warehouse supplies and equipment Schedule warehouse equipment maintenance Process claims for defective or damaged product Must be able to use email communication with other DCs, vendors or manufacturers Oversee the Performance Management of warehouse staff Assist in physical labor when needed
