As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse, oversee daily activities, and guide the logistics team while enforcing compliance with safety policies, managing workflow, and optimizing inventory management practices. Additionally in your role, you will conduct audits and facilitate effective communication across shifts.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, transportation, or military environment
- 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage workflow during shifts, ensuring efficiency and productivity while supporting the Warehouse Lead.
- Act as a mentor and coach to operators, guiding them in their roles and helping them to develop their skills
- Ensure adherence to operational standards and routines by executing Leader Standard Work (LSW) daily.
- Conduct process audits to verify compliance with standard work practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in leader shift handover (SHO) routines to ensure effective communication and continuity between shifts.
- Participate in investigations of near misses and conduct root cause analysis to enhance safety and operational practices.
