About The Position

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating the daily activities involving the movement, stacking, loading, and unloading of products or materials using forklift equipment. This role provides oversight to materials-handling equipment operators and warehouse team members engaged in receiving, storing, recording, and dispatching goods within the facility. The Operations Supervisor ensures that all warehouse operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. Additionally, the supervisor evaluates and monitors the effectiveness of operational procedures, space utilization, and the maintenance and protection of equipment.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Five (5) years previous work experience in high paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office to include Excel, Access and Word. Ability to master internal computer systems.
  • Must be flexible on work hours and shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • Inventory Control and Replenishment : Preferred prior experience with accurately managing stock levels and supporting high- paced warehouse operations through effective oversight of inventory processes.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates the daily activities of the public warehouse to ensure shipping and receiving operations consistently meet or exceed customer quality and accuracy expectations.
  • Reads, interprets, and ensures compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and SOPs by team members and managers.
  • Leads, coaches, and motivates team members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Coaches, trains and develops hourly team members.
  • Monitors and audits warehouse operations to ensure services are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Leads ongoing improvement in warehouse operational policies.
  • Manages quality control and reduces damage.
  • Executes necessary disciplinary action in a timely manner.
  • Resolves team member complaints by addressing disputes and conflicts in a timely and fair manner.

  • Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
  • Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
  • Ensure that all operations comply with the FTZ Act and federal regulations
  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with the Safe Quality Food Institute (SQF) and all food safety regulations.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
