About The Position

1. Maintain layout of warehouse, and other storage areas, considering product movement, size, weight and related factors of items stored. 2. Analyze and support manager with a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish the Warehouse and Receiving objectives in an effective and efficient manner. 3. Facilitate and maintain strong channels of communication with customer service, scheduling, production and purchasing and facilitate any necessary follow-up to ensure smooth movement of goods. 4. Monitors the unloading of all materials into the receiving department, ensures materials are staged for counting and inspections; ensures receiving reports accurately report material received. Assist with discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports. 5. Oversees the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective, and safe manner. 6. Participate and/or facilitate inventory reconciliation. 7. Develop and utilize reports to analyze warehouse data and assist in resolving irregularities. This includes the ability and responsibility of input and management of data in the ERP/LN systems, and being proficient in written communication and reports using Microsoft Office Suite. 8. and coordinate with Warehouse Lead to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned crew. 9. Schedule/coordinates all outgoing shipments, including any necessary routing changes, to meet customer requirements in a cost-effective manner. This handling, FTL, LTL and small parcel shipment requests. 10. Responsible for checking in daily parts, small parcel, and LTL deliveries and ensures they’re delivered to the respective department. 11. Maintains a strong line of communication with eTMS. 12. Support Waste scheduling if required. 13. Requirements

  • Ability to lead, motivate, select, train and instruct personnel.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • College degree in related field is preferred but not required.
  • One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers, and coworkers.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • OSHA approved Forklift Certification preferred but not required.
  • CPR and first-aid Certified preferred but not required.
