About The Position

The Carlstar Division of Titan International is seeking a 2nd shift Warehouse Supervisor I for their McDonough, GA facility. This position oversees the inventory and staff within the warehouse. This role involves coordinating a team that receives, stores, and distributes materials, equipment, and supplies. It requires a thorough understanding of the relevant policies, procedures, and practices, as well as leading and directing the work of other employees.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
3+ Years of Experience in Warehousing, Distribution, or Logistics required.
1+ Year in Leadership strongly preferred.
Demonstrated advanced problem-solving and organizational skills, and mid-level project management skills required.
Exceptional leadership skills, verbal and written communication skills, and standard math skills required.
Ability to regularly lift 20+ pounds required.
Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time is required.

Nice To Haves

A College Degree in Business Management or a related field is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists the DC Manager with hiring and training of new employees.
Schedules and oversees shipping, inventory, auditors, and maintenance staff.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Schedules, manages, and invoices maintenance repairs in the building.
Completes specified reports at the assigned frequency.
Manages physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
Monitors expenditures; implements corrective actions if needed.
Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
Purchases supplies for the site when needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
