The Warehouse Specialist assists in picking, packing, sorting, and shipping orders to customers while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This position requires teamwork and organization to help ensure the smooth flow of materials and accuracy in inventory and to contribute to the efficiency of on-time delivery of all Just Ingredients products.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly to changing priorities while focusing on quality and efficiency.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, as well as bending, stooping, and reaching throughout the day.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours) and work in varying warehouse conditions (cold, hot, or dusty environments).
- Flexibility to work overtime as required to meet business needs.
- Proficient in English, ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Forklift Certification and proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and experience with larger vehicles.
- Understanding inventory management and the use of warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, reach trucks, and motorized pallet jacks, to transport inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Retrieve, stage, and organize products for fulfillment lines, ensuring quick and accurate order processing for timely shipments.
- Pick, pack, sort, and ship orders to customers.
- Maintain the accuracy and consistency of inventory movements, ensuring optimal stock levels during unloading and shipping of products.
- Collect products from local vendors using the Just Ingredients truck, ensuring safe transportation.
- Deliver retail orders to customers and retail locations using the Just Ingredients truck, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Uphold a safe and secure work environment by following safety procedures and ensuring all equipment is maintained properly.
