Warehouse Specialist . Must have the training, skills, and knowledge to receive, perform warehousing/storage functions (such as identification, segregation, density compliance, etc.), issue, and prepare materials for shipping. As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties which requires an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Verifies materials against documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing/performing alternate location assignments of materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, consolidating, and/or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods and local planography. Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage, and preparing it for shipment. Uses DSS or equivalent WMS and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS.
