About The Position

As a member of the Purchasing team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operations. This includes receiving all incoming goods, processing invoices for payment, storing inventory items, distributing operating supplies, processing, tagging, and distributing retail goods. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older
  • Willingness to train to become forklift certified (previous experience operating a forklift a plus)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Process retail receiving utilizing the Data Works system. Ensuring items are properly tagged and distributed. Report any damaged merchandise to Retail Purchasing.
  • Process non-food receiving in the SWS system and note discrepancies.
  • Ensures that all materials are tagged or marked correctly and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining up to date open, partial and closed purchase order filing system for nonfood and retail purchase orders.
  • Actively participate in all storeroom inventories and issue inventory items to departments per storeroom requisitions through the Stratton Warren system
  • Stage received goods for delivery/pick-up by departments and deliver goods for departments as necessary.
  • Assists in follow up inventory reconciliations.
  • Conduct spot check inventories.
  • Advises Purchasing Coordinator of dead stock/slow moving/excess stock on a regular basis.
  • As needed direct pick-up of goods from suppliers.
  • As directed respond to inquiries & reconciles receiving and issuing problems.
  • Assist in securing of warehouse including daily opening and closing alarm activation.
  • Secures vehicles and forklifts in warehouse prior to closing.
  • Assist in daily cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding areas.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
