This Warehouse Specialist will work out of our Northern Rockies Warehouse in Watford City, ND. You will be responsible for receiving and binning of products, inventory management, picking/packing/shipping orders (small parcel and freight), making deliveries, and regular correspondence with internal customers. This person will join our team and be responsible for supporting, contributing to, and participating in all aspects of an efficient workflow within warehouse environments.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Warehousing experience required.
  • If not already forklift certified, you must become forklift certified within 3 weeks of hire. Certification will be provided by Automation-X.
  • Strong computer skills are a non-negotiable requirement for this position, must be skilled in Microsoft and familiar with ERP systems and must be able to type a minimum of 50-60 words per minute.
  • This position will include driving. MUST have clean driving record!
  • A warehouse specialist must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Anything over 50 lbs. must be team lifted.

Nice To Haves

  • NetSuite Experience, or experience with similar software
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry a plus
  • Experience driving a forklift.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstration of integrity, strong work ethic and dedication to results.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and inter-personal skills

Responsibilities

  • Represent Automation-X in a professional manner, displaying excellent customer service.
  • Receive and verify accuracy of shipments from vendors and other warehouses.
  • Notify appropriate parties when requested stock arrives.
  • Help to organize and maintain inventory on (and off) site as needed.
  • Ship orders out, ensuring the proper items are delivered on time, safely and in accordance with customer policies.
  • Daily processing of transfer orders and sales order fulfillments
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and work with team to fix any possible discrepancies.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the warehouse.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and customers.
  • Load and unload material on truck utilizing handling equipment when necessary.
