Performs a variety of manual and associated clerical duties within a warehouse supply/logistics system related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering materials, tools, equipment and supplies. Counts, inspects, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Applies labels, tags, bar codes or other identifying information as required. Places the inspected items into inventory, storage containers, shelving, bins, etc; Issues tools, materials or equipment from storage to operations personnel. Maintains a computerized inventory system to track existing stock or inventory levels of all items contained in the warehouse facility. Participates in routing, counting and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks. Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrap hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage. Ensures proper procedures are followed to identify, record, handle, store and move Hazmat materials and supplies. Delivers items to operations personnel and retrieves items to be placed back into storage. Performs a physical inventory of parts, tools and materials on a routine basis within the warehouse facility. Performs physical inventories of company property at remote locations as requested. Provides related logistics support services within the unit as requested.
