About The Position

Warehouse Specialist - Buda, TX Big Fish, a Tech 24 subsidiary, is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to support our branch in Buda, TX. This is an on-site position. The Warehouse Specialist will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders. In addition to managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Requirements

Insurable by Company insurance carrier
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
Follow directions as given, written and verbal
Basic knowledge of tools and surroundings
Comply with all safety rules
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
Arrive on time daily
Dress in workman like manner (uniform)

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory on stock items in warehouse and service vehicles.
Responsible for ensuring all jobs scheduled for the next day have all material and equipment pulled.
Assist Service Dispatcher with items necessary to dispatch the crew in the morning
List return to stocks for return to vendor
Track material returns by job and return to stock
Report status of jobs pulled at day’s end to Service Dispatcher/Service Managers
Responsible for all materials, supplies, etc. that leave the shop have been properly filled out on a material sheet
Check and put away stock orders
Unloading/stocking supplies and equipment
Assist Installers in loading and unloading trucks/vans
Notify Installation Coordinator of any shortages on stock items
Put away any deliveries, mark equipment received with job name and number, stage in appropriate area
Perform quarterly inventory count
Weekly vehicle inspections
Receive and fill orders
Pull truck stock for Service, notify Service Manager of shortages
Vehicle Safety Inspections
Life/Fire Safety for Warehouse
Review schedule for upcoming jobs to make certain that all material lists have been turned in for pulling and staging, notify Service Manager if any are missing
Run parts to service calls for technicians (As Directed by Service Manager or GM)
Check with Service Manager for any needed stock
Maintain facility in proper operating condition
Maintain shop and yard in a clean and orderly fashion
Remove clutter and scrap from shop area
Pick up all garbage from warehouse, yard and on building grounds
Put away all extra materials brought back by installers the day before or return to vendor
Maintain warehousing of Company supplied tools
Generate check out lists and reconcile upon return
Lock up building and warehouse
Other duties as assigned
