About The Position

This hybrid Warehouse Specialist PLD provides hands-on support for daily warehouse operations for key accounts, including order fulfillment, fabrication, and material handling, while ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Under minimal direction, this role also assists management with inventory tasks, overseeing specific parts and equipment for service trucks. The specialist delivers excellent customer service and builds strong vendor relationships. Success requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a solid foundation in warehouse procedures.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety standards, and inventory management systems is essential.
  • Skill in using both hand tools and specialized equipment is required for component fabrication and assembly.
  • Ability to follow detailed work orders, instructions, and specifications accurately to ensure product quality.
  • Skill in customer service, including effective communication and assisting clients with order fulfillment.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, including possessing or obtaining the necessary certification.
  • Ability to work effectively with team members and management to support overall warehouse functions.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Complete a fit for duty and a DOT before the start date.
  • You will be required to attain your forklift and scissors lift certifications within 30 days and complete and earn your OSHA 30 certification training within 60 days of your effective start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.
  • Combining experience in warehouse or fabrication practices of 2 or more years with education is desirable.
  • Previous experience in operating forklift or scissor is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform product assembly, including insulating door sections and building specific components.
  • Manage inventory receiving, accurately unloading trucks, verifying counts, and inspecting for damage.
  • Fulfill orders by pulling, packaging, and staging materials for shipment or customer pick-up.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and lifts, following safety protocols.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Store and organize materials, ensuring proper labeling and separating stock from job-specific items.
  • Utilize hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.) safely for various tasks.
  • Ensure precise inventory records by utilizing the ERP system and associated software/paperwork.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with all safety protocols.
