About The Position

Experienced forklift driver with stand-up/sit-down forklifts. Must work in a safe and professional manner. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. totes; stacking onto plastic pallets to be moved off the Receive dock. Work in a safe manner consistent with Summit Racing Safety regulations. Ensure staged freight must secure and stacked in a safe manner. Keep work areas neat. Specifically, the forklifts. Standing most of each day. Understand the Putaway process with a light emphasis on Receiving. Build and maintain positive relationships with the Putaway and Receiving teams. Maintain a Customer Service friendly environment. Set the department up to succeed; ensure totes for the mezzanine are moved up to keep a good workflow. Move staged freight in a timely manner off the dock and into the proper staging areas for Putaway. Consolidate product from like zones in the Putaway staging area. Maintain professional demeanor with all departments and staff. Willing to change direction at a moment’s notice as dictated by the workflow. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have ability to read and understand English, and basic understanding of math.
  • Must be able to use technology (scanners and computers).
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve required performance standards.
  • The position requires climbing stairs, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and lifting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently and 70 lbs. with assistance.
  • Position requires standing a minimum of 8 hours per day with continuous movement listed above.
