As a Full-Time Warehouse Forklift Driver at R&R Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in our operations by loading and unloading freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually, depending on the freight size. Your primary responsibilities include expertly operating various moving equipment to transport shipments from the loading dock and throughout the stockroom, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow. You will also be responsible for safely moving materials from receiving or storage areas to designated shipping zones, while demonstrating a strong commitment to warehouse safety procedures. Wearing appropriate footwear and adhering to safety protocols is essential in this hands-on role. Additionally, you will utilize computer equipment, such as an iPad and scanner, to manage transactions related to the physical movement of materials. To excel as a Full-Time Warehouse Forklift Driver at R&R Solutions, candidates must possess a combination of practical skills and physical capabilities. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of prior forklift operation experience and a valid forklift certification. Basic computer skills are preferred to effectively use technology in managing warehouse operations. Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to stand, walk, and squat throughout their shifts while also grasping, pushing, and pulling materials. You should be comfortable working in diverse conditions, including high, tight, or confined spaces, as well as enduring fluctuating temperatures and humidity. The role necessitates the ability to lift and carry loads up to 75 lbs safely, climb, balance, and perform other physical activities such as bending and twisting. This position is considered safety-sensitive, emphasizing a strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
