About The Position

The Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, employee performance, safety compliance, and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience.
High energy self-starter
3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Experience working in an ERP system (Quantum preferred).
Full-cycle warehouse experience, including shipping and receiving operations.
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and deadline management.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and on-time performance.
Maintain accurate inventory records in Quantum, including quarantines, trace paperwork, condition codes, shelf-life, expiration dates, and application codes.
Oversee preparation, packaging, labeling, and dispatch of outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to delivery schedules.
Manage receipt and inspection of incoming materials, verifying against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
Coordinate and supervise daily activities of warehouse and shipping & receiving staff, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance reviews.
Ensure accurate transaction records for inbound and outbound shipments within company systems.
Standardize shipping carriers and shipping methods to maximize customer service while minimizing cost.
Determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and material flow to meet operational schedules.
Continuously improve warehouse layout, organization, and processes to enhance productivity.
Promote and enforce a culture of safety and compliance with internal and external regulations.
Coordinate and execute inventory management processes including receiving, cycle counting, reconciliation, material movement, and system transactions to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.
