About The Position

Just Play is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Manager. The role is responsible for the oversight of daily shipping activities, regulatory compliance, and process improvements.

To ensure success as Warehouse Shipping Manager, the ideal candidate will have previous experience in warehouse operations, have strong attention to detail, and be forklift certified.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification is required
• At least 5 years’ previous experience in warehouse operations
• Strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented
• Works well in a team environment and has leadership qualities.
• Strong communication skills within Microsoft Teams and Outlook email
• Knowledge or experience with WMS systems
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Strong Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outbound shipping activities, including scheduling, loading, and dispatching of goods.
• Ensure all orders are picked, packed, labeled, and shipped according to customer specifications and deadlines.
• Monitor and maintain accurate shipment documentation (BOLs, packing lists, customs paperwork if applicable).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
• Monitor quality standards for outbound shipments to minimize errors and damages
• Oversee proper documentation for international shipments, including customs requirements and Incoterms.
• Supervise, train, and develop shipping team members
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure shipping equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, conveyors) is maintained and used safely.
