About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments from the warehouse and organize the warehouse to ensure efficient shipment storage as well as transporting products between two facilities. Essential Functions and Responsibilities (not restrictive) Load, unload, move, count / pick, stack and stage product and materials using a sit down or stand-up forklift as required. Unload and verify quantities, specifications and quality of orders. Receive goods into ERP computer system by way of scan gun or computer prior to physically placing away by pallet jack or forklift into proper bay. Pick multi product and batch managed orders strictly adhering to FIFO and/or other customer requirements. Pick using scan gun or computer apparatus ensuring accuracy of physical pick to system quantities. Building shipment pallets efficiently and loading dock level trucks. Stock pallet racks with inventory from daily production while verifying counts. Transfer pallets to proper location according to management direction by way of scan gun or computer. Pick raw materials to be used in subsequent days production, transferring and staging them physically and in system as required by production plan. Assisting in cycle counting inventory and verifying quantities on orders and in warehouse as required. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, along with company pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s). Following set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times. Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • 2 years of forklift experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; must work effectively with others.
  • Work well with others
  • Ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while remaining productive at all times.
  • Ability to drive box truck.
  • Knowledge of warehouse and lift trucks
  • Excellent attendance and dependability.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include overtime and weekends on short notice
  • SAP knowledge preferred
  • Proficient personal computer skills (MS office applications – Word, Office, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of computers and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read and write in the English language
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, unit of measure conversions

  • SAP knowledge preferred
