Warehouse Sanitation Associate

You will learn both sanitation and pallet sorting best practices within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision. This role involves a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel, emphasizing the ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner. Associates are assigned to specified areas within the work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations. Success in this role requires a high-energy individual with a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to make independent decisions to accomplish tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel
- High-energy individual with a strong work ethic
- Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision
- Independent decision maker as needed to accomplish tasks
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of up to 25-75lbs (materials handled vary)
- Flexible work schedule due to changing operational needs
- Ability to sit or stand for periods in office as well as warehouse environment (concrete flooring and changing temperatures)
Responsibilities
- Keep the work site clean and free of debris
- Learn both sanitation and pallet sorting best practices within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision
- Maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations in assigned areas within work environment
- Handle pallets as directed by Capstone management and customer, meeting company standards, customer time lines and maintaining a safe work environment
- Keep Site Supervisor and Manager informed regarding conditions on the dock, accomplishments and concerns
- Contribute suggestions for improvements
