The sanitation associate is responsible for keeping the work site clean and free of debris, learning and applying sanitation and pallet sorting best practices within a warehouse facility, and working alone or in teams with minimal supervision. This role involves a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel, requiring a positive and friendly demeanor. Associates are assigned to specified areas to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations. Requirements

  • Work with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel
  • Ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner
  • High-energy individual with a strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated with ability to work with limited supervision
  • Independent decision maker as needed to accomplish tasks
  • Lift and carry a minimum of up to 25-75lbs, materials handled vary
  • Flexible work schedule due to changing operational needs
  • Ability to sit or stand for periods in office as well as warehouse environment (concrete flooring and changing temperatures)

Responsibilities

  • Keep the work site clean and free of debris
  • Learn both sanitation and pallet sorting best practices within a warehouse facility
  • Work alone or in teams with minimal supervision
  • Maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations in assigned areas within work environment
  • Handle pallets as directed by Capstone management and customer, meeting company standards, customer time lines and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Keep Site Supervisor and Manager informed regarding conditions on the dock, accomplishments and concerns
  • Contribute suggestions for improvements
