What you'll be doing- The Role As Warehouse/Route Driver, you'll complete shipments by processing and loading orders. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Serves as back up to Route Drivers.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License for at least 2 years
- Past driving experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Load and accurately inventory product and equipment orders
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests to fill customer orders
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Provide great Communication Skills with employees
- Safely use warehouse equipment, including forklift, and performed basic repairs
- Counted inventory to determine supply needs
- Check dates on product and pull all expired products
- Serves as back up to Route Drivers.
- Drive company-owned vans and trucks 30 to 100 miles daily to transport products and equipment to customers.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
